Roger Schrock, D.V.M.
Dr. Roger Schrock became owner and director of Portage Park Animal Hospital in January 1985.
He graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981.
After becoming an associate Veterinarian at Bone Animal Hospital in Chicago for one year, he managed an Animal Emergency Clinic in Indianapolis Indiana for 2 1/2 years before joining Portage Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Schrock's special interests include pediatrics, geriatrics, dentistry and surgery.
He lives on a farm with his wife and three children, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Brownie. His hobbies include farming, bee keeping, hiking, and European culture.
Lenette L. Renier DiCiaula, M.S., D.V.M.
Dr. Lenette L. Renier DiCiaula, DVM has been employed at Portage Park Animal Hospital since 1995. A 1994 graduate of
the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. DiCiaula's special interests include dentistry, laser
surgery and internal medicine.
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. DiCiaula was a high school Biology teacher at Good Counsel High School. Dr. DiCiaula also has her Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. DiCiaula and her husband have four children, a Golden Retriever and a little white dog.
Dr. DiCiaula's hobbies include chauffeuring children, hauling hockey bags, reading, photography and musical, theatrical and play-doh arts.
Katerina Tremlova, D.V.M.
Dr. Tremlova joined our practice in September 2005 and is excited to be a member of the Portage Park community.
A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kate completed her undergraduate
studies at Loyola University Chicago and has close ties to the city along with an appreciation for its architecture.
She is an avid Illini fan, but cheers for the Chicago White Sox and Bears as well.
Dr. Tremlova was born in the Czech Republic, where her father is a practicing veterinarian. She came to the United States as a little girl over 20 years ago with 2 suitcases, 4 boxes of toys, and boundless optimism. She is proud to be following in her father's footsteps.
Dr. Tremlova's interests include internal medicine and surgery, and most of all she enjoys enhancing the bond between pets and their people. Outside of work she loves to savor her husband's gourmet cooking, enjoys traveling, and is learning to play the banjo. She shares her home with her dog Misha and her cats Henry, Anais, and Guiness.
Cynthia Olsen, D.V.M.
Dr. Cynthia Olsen joined us in June 2007. She graduated from the University of Illinois, School of Veterinary
Medicine with honors. Besides interests in Internal Medicine, Surgery and Exotics, Dr. Olsen also enjoys discussing
a holistic approach to her Clients to bring the best of alternative and mainstream veterinary medicine together.
She is now certifed through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, and offers chiropractic care for
dogs, cats and rabbits.
She resides in Chicago with her pets. Dr. Olsen has many hobbies including playing piano, guitar and enjoying equine activities. She is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association; along with the Chicago, Illinois and American Veterinary Medical Associations.
Pablo Garcia, D.V.M.
Pablo Garcia, D.V.M.
Dr. Pablo Garcia joined our practice in January of 2008. He was born in Spain, then moved to Puerto Rico
before relocating to Virginia, where he started his Veterinary career. Dr. Garcia moved to Chicago after his
wife, a Medical Doctor, accepted a residency in anesthesiology at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago.
Besides his life-long love for all creatures great and small, Dr. Garcia's professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, pediatric and geriatric medicine. His hobbies include travel and exploring our great city. And, yes Dr. Garcia speaks fluent Spanish.
Meet our new Doctor, Norah Canavan Morrison BVMS, MRCVS
Dr. Morrison is the newest addition to Portage Park Animal Hospital. She is a graduate of Loyola
University, Chicago and The University of Glasgow, Scotland, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
She met her husband, Dr. Euan Morrison in vet school.
After graduation they spent 2 years working in Northern England in true James Herriot country. In 2007 she moved back to her native Chicago where she joined the staff at Norwood Park Animal Hospital. She spent 3 years there. After a short stint practicing in the far northern suburbs she joined the staff at Portage Park Animal Hospital.
Drs. Norah and Euan Morrison have a fabulous little girl named Josie, and 3 dogs; Molly the Duchess of Lancashire, a rescued English Mastiff who came from England, Duke, a shepard-collie mix rescued from Chicago and Krone, a Norwegian Elkhound puppy with a wonky ear.
In her spare time Dr. Morrison cooks, cleans and washes Josie's dirty diapers!
